The 23^rd of July is about a positive paradigm shift. It is about an ambitious vision to restore Oman’s glorious heritage and position it as a modern state. A state that strikes a balance between tradition and modernity. Therefore it is a state which is extremely proud of its versatile heritage while living the spirit of the era and enjoying the top niche technological advancement.

Undoubtedly such a vision takes more than mere talks and promises. It is about a self denial, laborious and undeterred efforts. It is being focused at achieving the target and seeing the dream becoming a tangible reality. 

It is because of the magnitude of the efforts and its subsequent fruitful results that 23^rd of July cannot be condensed into a few lines.

 It is a point of igniting the torch for better tomorrow. It is a story of a nation which is blessed with a highly motivate, self driven, and amazingly devoted leader to see his dream become true. It is a story of people who stand tall saluting their beloved leader whom they love extensively. It is such a unique bondage between the leader and his people the ads a real favor to the unquestionable success of our blessed renaissance and attract so many admirers to explore the secret behind its success.

23^rd of July speaks louder than words. It is a story of a renaissance in all spheres of life. It is a story of education from primitive to highly modern touch of class educational opportunities. It is in fact a story of a wholestic approach towards development whether from a social, economic or political perspective. 

23^rd of July is certainly has one common denomination that is the welfare of the Omani citizens because they are the renaissance target and the ultimate beneficiary. 

It undoubtedly goes without saying that His Majesty the Sultan with his wise judgment, crystal clear vision, and undivided love and affection for his fellow citizens and humanity at large enabled him to see his dream comes true and make his promises fulfilled. It is the managing by example approach which His Majesty Sultan has adopted from the initial day that made the impossible becomes possible.  The examples are so many to be covered in such an article.

Even during the adversity which was brought by Gonu recently, His Majesty was in the forefront assuring his people that with our sense of solidarity we can overcome such a calamity. It is really an assuring gesture to see His Majesty traveling from a place to another to see for himself the magnitude of the damages. Yet it is also a moment of pride to see his paternal touch play a catalyst in restoring the sense of solidarity and rejuvenate the strong determination to join hands to over come the materialistic losses and think about the brighter side of the calamity.

As we are relishing the joy of the renaissance day we pray to almighty Allah (GOD) to bless our beloved leader and shower him with his unlimited blessing and support. The Renaissance day is certainly a moment of reflection that fills all the Omani citizens with a sense of pride and joy. The achievements speak for themselves therefore today Oman is known as a land of tranquility and peace and its leader as a renowned advocate of peace and its people are ambassadors of hospitality and peaceful coexistence.
