In 1978 or 1979, when I was still a student of Arabic at the University of Vienna, I had the great pleasure to meet Sultan Qabous at the occasion of his visit to the Palais Liechtenstein in Vienna. Ever since I had wanted to see Oman.
I finally made it in November 2007 and it was a beautiful journey in a wonderful country.
I long to come bacvk and stand in front of the Sultans Palace again!
One of the great rulers in the Arab world!

I visited Oman last year with my son who lives in Dubai and works in Riyad.
We had a small trip to the coast near the border to the UAE.
It was a great experience to visit Oman, and I will do it again. Next time i want to spend more days in Muscat and see more of this prety country.
I am sure that you will have a great succes with more turism in your lovely and peaceful country.
Give my greatings to his great majesty and highness the Sultan of Oman
